For morning business we were doing journal writing.  We were writing about “What would you do if you were president?”  Also we were turning in missing work.

For band we learned a new tapping skill.  It was tapping with your heel instead of your toes.  We talked about chair testing and when it was and what line to practice.  We talked about “A bird can’t sing in a dirty cage” and we had to write about what we thought it was.

For math we learned 3-digit multiplication and it was hard and easy for our class.  Also we di test corrections, math lesson 56, and A.M.

For reading we spent the whole time in the computer room for our  whole time until recess.  We also were starting to type some stuff on the computer and get started on our final raft.  We, the class, took the STAR math test.

For language arts we spent our time in the computer room doing STAR math testing and finishing up our final drafts.  Also we were taking A.R. tests.

For recess we ha a goo time because we went outside and got fresh air.  For lunch we all sat and talked and ate.

For A.R. we read and finished up books, and took A.R. tests and Ms. Morris read our jobs aloud to make sure we still had those classroom jobs.

For social studies we played Jeopardy and got ready for our test that is on January 29, 2008, and it’s a hard test.

For science we got back papers and did a worksheet and talked about our test that is coming up.

When we walked in the classroom there could have been twenty dollars on your desk if your desk was clean.  Also there would have been a survey on your desk about  how you’re doing, and what youu don’t like, or if you’re struggling with anything in the classroom.

Well, band was normal but we were practicing on the stage for our concert tomorrow.  We were practicing very hard, too.  We were going through all of the steps and learning how to stand and some other things.  I think during study hall Kavoceya pained the windows in our classroom with good decorations.

Well, for math we did a four minute timed test and everyone did fairly well.   Today we did lesson 46 about fractions, which really wasn’t easy for some, and for others it was.  We also did math grading for lesson 45.

For reading we were working on reading The Mystery of Mars, and we were doing a thing that would help us throughout the story.  It was like summarizing what we read so far.

In Language Arts we did a schwa thing and it was easy for others, and hard for some others.  It was basically like guessing which word was correct.

For lunch and recess we had a good time.  For recess we were playing in the snow and sliding down the slides.  Lunch was fairly good, and hectic.

A.R. was pretty good.  There were tests and a lot of reading going on, so we were doing well.

In Social Studies we had a test and it was easy.  We had the whole time to work on the test.  Well, when we were finished we read our A.R. books.

Science.  For science we did a classroom picture.  Also we did a worksheet about solids, liquids and gasses.  It was easy.  We did a little game about liquids, gases, and solids.  Well we also did popcorn.  It was fun and we read about a good topic.

In the morning we had band and we practiced Jingle Bells and we learned more about dynamics and percussion got to play in the real instruments.  Plus right in the beginning of band we went to the Veteran’s Day play.  The kindergartners were playing the play.  It was so cute.

In gym class it was so fun.  We got to play dodge ball and I was on the red team and had good teammates.  And the people that didn’t want to do dodge ball got to do free time.  Ashlee, Emily, Kassandra, and Nikota got to play with the big ball during free time.  It was a fun time everyone was awesome during gym class.

During math time we took a vocabulary math test and a regular math test.  Everyone hopefully did good.  That’s basically all we did, I wish we could have played the factor game – everyone probably does.

In reading we did some stuff like finishing up The Children’s Rainforest questions, and finishing the story, and that’s basically all we did.

For language arts we wrote in our novel for 15-20 minutes and we got to share our story with a friend.  And that’s all we basically did.

At recess we went outside and had a good time because it was Friday, but I didn’t go out because I wasn’t feeling good at all.  At lunch we really didn’t do anything except talk and eat and have a good time.

At extra recess everyone had a good time but I didn’t because I was still sick but everyone else had a good time.

Just a little after lunch we got around for our auction and got money for the auction.  There weresome good things at the auction like pillows, toys, puppets, key chains and frames.  It was awesome and it lasted until the end of the day.

Well, this morning some students did IWalk, that was so fun.  When we did IWalk we got to eat apples, drink water, and rack up laps.

In band we did some testing for chair testing.  And everyone did very, very good.  Today for band the instructor said we did very well on keeping he rhythm equal.

For art we talked about Deboarh Butterfield.  She is a very good artist.  We talked about what she made and how she made it.  And we talked about what she used, and how long it took, and how many people helped her.

For snack we just sat and chilled out and talked and got things situated.  Snack was very quiet for some odd reason.  Everyone was just munching down their snack.  Nobody really got up.

After that we did math.  Now we’re just correcting math.  Tell ya what, I am not getting a very good score.  This leson was very, very hard.  Except, you have to get good grades, so do your work.  And Ms. Morris explained a couple of problems.  Now we are on lesson 15.  This is an easy lesson.  Now we’re on a worksheet.  Now math is done and we turned in our multiplication table.

Now we’re in reading.  The teacher just asked us to get our beads out.  These beads are for a story that we read three weeks ago.  This is a fun thing to do.  Now we’re writing and answering about what do you support an opinion with?  It was so easy.  Now we are working on a Working in Wood paper.  Now we are done with reading.

We are on Language Arts right now.  We just talked about sequence and description a little bit.  Now we’re reading about what teachers look for in writing and it is part of a worksheet.  It’s a pretty fun worksheet, but a little boring, but will help you learn.  Now we just got done.

Recess was pretty fun.  There were a lot of people running around.  I saw Ms. Morris outside doing mileage club; that was cool.

Lunch was noisy.  There were people talking at every table.  Today at lunch cold lunch went first.  We still don’t get to sit where we want.  That’s a big bummer.

For A.R. there were a lot of people sent down for MelCat books or CDs.  We had about 20 minutes of A.R. reading.  That was cool.  Ms. Morris was calling people over for a reading sheet.

Now we got ready for social studies.  We did have two homework sheets.  We got to read in partners and learn about Incas.  We didn’t do much stuff today, but did some stuff.

Science we’re learning abou bar graphs.  We’ve been taking notes on this a different way.  We’ve made two bar graphs.  They were very colorful.  Everyone did a good job, so keep it up!  Now we’re doing another graph.  It should be fun.

At the end of the day it was a little hectic.  We were doing verbs and having our planner signed–that can get very hectic.  Well, now we’re getting ready to go get our band instruments.  We got our instruments and headed home.
