We all came in, sat down, and worked on our Valentine’s card bag.  Ms. Morris talked a little bit, then we looked at the time and it was time for band class.

Some kids stayed and some kids went.  In band class we played a song and tested on it.  The flutes and clarinets did great.  Rachel, Sara, Ryan got first chair, Hannah got second, and so on.

In music class we had a substitute, Mrs. Barger.  She is so nice.  We did worksheets, then she played songs on the piano that we all knew.  Then we watched parts of movies for the songs.

In math we corrected our two lessons and so on.

We had no reading, language arts, social studies, or science today.

December!

We walked in, greeted Ms. Morris, and sat down. She talked some and some kids went to band class. We went to band class and played our instruments. And then it was time for gym class.

In gym class we had our basketball unit. After gym we went to library for the book fair, made a wish list, and left.

Then we went back to class and corrected our math and did our lesson.

After math we went to Language Arts and Reading. In that subject we cirrected a worksheet.

We went to recess and lunch and came back and read A.R.

Then we went to Social Studies and Science.

Then we packed up and went home!

This morning we walked in, greeted Ms. Morris and sat down.  We all got out our planners and Ms. Morris talked.  Then I raised my hand and said “Look at the time!”.

We all lined up for band.  When we got downstairs the study hall kids: Juwan, Kavoceya, Logan, and Kassandra, went upstairs with Ms. Morris.  Band kids played with their partners that we picked.

When band was over we all went to the library where we read a lot!

When we were done with library we did our math transition and ate snack.  Today we learned how to list factors in whole numbers.

When we were done with math we did our Language Arts transition.  In Language Arts we got back papers and did our questions.  Also, we did spelling pre-test.  When we were done we all went out to RECESS!  Everybody (almost) played kickball.  Some kids played games.  When recess was done we went to lunch.  Today we had hamburger stew.

When lunch was over we went back to class and read A.R.  I think everybody loves A.R.!  When A.R. was done, Ms. Morris read No Talking to us.  I like that book.

Then we went to Social Studies and had a sub and her name was Miss T.  She was nice.  When we were reading we all got back band fundraiser! A lot of people got twisty pens.

When social studies was done we went back to Ms. Morris and did Science.  In Science we took notes.  When science was done we packed up, filled out planners, and went home.

Enjoy.

Tuesday morning we walked in, greeted Ms. Morris and put our things away, sat down, and put our gym shoes on for after band class.

Here we are in band class, everyone is so excited!  We put together our instruments and played our first two lines in our band books.  Then the saxophone, flute, oboe, and clarinet learned how to clean their instruments.  Now we are going to pack up our instruments and head to gym class!

Finally, Gym class.  Mr. B.  told us to go to our squads.  The squads are Fats, Meats, Dairy, Fruits, and last but not least Veggies.  After that we played a game called “The Snake.”  There was a header who picked the food up, then passed it back to the next person in line, then once it got to the second to last person threw it in the bag.  When we were done playing that game we all did our warm up card game.  Everyone had a blast doing that little activity.  Then we went down to the track to run a mile for the Presidential Fitness Test.  Did you know that four times around the track is one mile?  (That counts for every track.)  Rachel and Juwan were the first ones to finish.  When everybody was don we all went back to the gym and had a talk with Mr. B.  Then he told us we had a frowny face.  Then Ms. Morris came to pick us up.

When we got back to the classroom we grabbed our snacks and sat down for math class.  We learned about “some and some more.”  Then we did the practice set on our white boards.  We had no time to do our lesson practice.

Reading time today we are finishing “The Marble Champ”.  It was a great story.  I wonder if they have a bigger version of “The Marble Champ”

Language Arts time in class.  We are learning about simple sentences.  They are fun to learn about because when we write we each have certain topics to write about when we do those kinds of activities in Language Arts.

RECESS!  Everybody loves recess because of the mileage club.  It is a hit at recess.  Now we go to lunch.

Now we are back in the classroom and reading A.R.  Then after A.R. we are having writing journals.  It is Writing Journal time and Rachel is sharing today, so I know that it is going to be good.

Time for Social Studies.  Today we have a test.  I hope everyone does a great job today.

Wow! This day is just flying by.  NOw it is already time for Maps and Globes and Graphs.  That is a fun book to work out of.

Time to go home already.  That is the end of the second day of the fourth week.  Have a great day tomorrow classmates!
