Roving Reporter

I got to school on time today (for once).  Then Miss Morris gave us our instructions and we went to band and study hall.  I can’t tell you what happened at band, because I was in study hall with Juwan, Kassandra, and Emily.

Then we went to music.  We did these things where you have to crack the code to find the answer.  We didn’t do anything else for music class.

Then we went to math.  We did math tests.  I am not sure if we did anything else.  (I can’t remember). 

Then we had English.  We went to the computer lab for MAP testing. I don’t know what else happened for the rest of English because I was doing MAP until recess.

Then we had recess and lunch.  Then we had reward recess.  It is something we do where if you got all your homework in for the rest of the week you get an extra recess on Friday.

Then we started a spelling test, but in the middle of it we had to go to the assembly.  You already know what happened during the assembly, so I’m not going to tell you.

Then we finished the spelling test.  Then we got ready to go home and went home.

Roving Reporter January 23

At the beginning of the day I got to school late again. Then we went to the spelling bee. Then we went to Art. We were doing a collage. It’s where you cut out and glue pieces of magazine to a bigger piece of magazine.

Then we went to math. We were reviewing multiplication. I think some of us told Ms. Morris the answer to a problem when she asked. Then we had language arts. We folded up some paper and put it into sections. It was for tomorrow. Then we had spelling. We worked ou rough drafts for our articles. Emily was going around interviewing people and asking them about Egyptian stuff.

Then we went to A.R. People were still interviewing. The bank people were giving people their checks.

Then we went to social studies. We read a chapter in our books. When we were done we’d work on our study guides.

Then we went to science. We watched a video. It was on physical change and chemical change. Then we packed up and headed for home.

Friday December 14, 2007

I got to school late during study hall and band.  Then we went to art.  We talked about Mona Lisa.  And we played a game where you have to write your name and draw a picture at the same time.

Then we went to math.  We did our book lesson.  And we checked our homework. 

Then we did English.  We talked about the story we had been reading.  It was “Circles, Squares, and Daggers”. 

Then we did reading.  We read A.R.  I read a book about a dragon. 

Then we went out for recess, lunch, and reward recess.

Then we made posters.  Then we packed up and went home.

I got to school early.  For once.  When we were all unpacked we did MEAP.  Then we had art.

We talked about Japanese art.  The art teacher showed us slides of Japanese arts.  Then we headed back for math. 

We checked our math homework from last night.  Then we did work in our math books.

Then we did reading.  We looked through our books.  Then we read with partners.

Then we did reading.  We worked on our novels.  They were neat. 

Then we went out for recess.  It was fun.  And we actually got to go out for recess.

Then we had lunch.  I had Pringles and a sandwich.  Everybody got really loud.

Then we had social studies.  We studied for a test.  And we played Jeopardy.

Next we had science.  A paper on elements.  And we finished up another paper on elements. 

Then we got ready to go home.  We all got packed up.  Then we went home.

9-27-07

Today I was late for school, but enough about me, let’s hear more about the rest of the class .The first thing we did after I got unpacked was band. I can’t tell you what happened in band because me, Juwan, Hannah and Kassandra were in study hall. We read and did unfinished work.

Then we went to the assembly and they talked about a school fund raiser and this one guy said that these toy pigs went really fast but when he turned it on it went really slow. We all laughed at that.

Then we went to music. We did something in our journals and books.

Then we did math. We wrote some stuff down and had a math test.

Then we had language arts. We did this one thing with folding this big paper into sections and wrote some 1syllable words and we talked about opinions. Then we had recess and lunch.

Then we switched for social studies. We had a test and read and had homework handed out.

Then we switched back for science. We wrote some notes down. Then we all got ready to leave and then we left for home. Well, th, th, th, th, th, th, that’s all folks.
